After 125 years of service to Nova Scotia families and children, the Home of the Guardian Angel is transferring responsibility for adoption placement and counselling to the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services.
The Home of the Guardian Angel will continue to assist families and pregnant women through its thriving Chebucto Family Centre in Spryfield. Our programs and services include Volunteer Doula Program, Prenatal/Postnatal Support, Parenting Programs, Breastfeeding Support, Family Support and Counselling, Enhanced Community Home Visiting, Family Literacy, Preschool and a variety of Wellness Programs.
The Home of the Guardian Angel will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of women, children and families.
